Becker Market is celebrating five years of gathering local vendors June through September for shoppers’ delight on Thursdays from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m.  It is located between 4th and 5th Street on Becker Avenue in Downtown Willmar.  This year’s vendors are selling fresh, locally-grown produce, meats and chickens, artisan breads, bakery fare, handmade crafts and much more.

New vendors are welcome to participate all season or they may pay a small fee ($10) per week to set up a stand. Local growers and makers of handmade items may call Nancy Johnson at 320 235-5978 or email info@willmardesigncenter.com for more information.

This season’s exciting activities include: Kick-off with 300 free tomato plants on June 2, Zumba aerobic dancing, Explorer Passports for children, food demonstrations with recipes and samples, a monthly film festival, drawings, YAT (Yarn Around Town) events, live entertainment and EBT, credit and debit card capabilities and along with all that, abundant community spirit!
